Generator Output at the RRN
The generator spot revenue calculation requires the calculation of the net generated energy deemed to be arriving at the regional reference node. This dataset is also available for you to trend in NEM-Review 6 Silver.
Generation (at the node) is the generation sent-out (MW) produced by the unit, less a percentage deemed to be the electrical energy lost in transmission to the Regional Reference Node.
Generation (at the node) is calculated as:
Generation (Sent Out) * the unit's Marginal Loss Factor
(where the MLF is calculated, in advance, for each financial year)
