Approximate Generator Energy Use

In v6 (Silver) you can trend each generator's energy use - the amount (MW) of energy consumed by a unit to produce the generation (as sent out) for a trading period.

Energy use is calculated as: Generation (Sent Out) x the unit's heat rate

This calculation is relevant for thermal units (i.e. coal and gas-fired) but will also return a “0 joules” for any other units for completeness of your calculations.
